She began her professional journey at the University of Education, Winneba, where she pursued a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, graduating in 2013. This initial academic pursuit gave her the pedagogical grounding to work with young children, nurturing them with patience, creativity, and love. Recognizing the evolving needs of the educational sector and her own growing interest in the emotional and psychological development of students, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counseling from the same institution in 2016. This qualification enhanced her capacity to support learners beyond academics, enabling her to provide tailored guidance, emotional support, and behavioural interventions.



In her desire to broaden her professional impact and contribute to conflict resolution and social justice, Asana further pursued and successfully completed a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Conflict Management in 2018. This unique blend of education, counselling, and conflict management has empowered her to work across different spheres of society, whether it’s the classroom, family settings, or civil society spaces, with a nuanced understanding of human behavior, rights, and conflict dynamics.



As a professional teacher, Asana is known for her enthusiasm in the classroom, her adaptive teaching methods, and her ability to inspire trust and confidence in her pupils. She is a devoted mother of three energetic boys, including a set of twins, and brings the same nurturing spirit from her home into the classroom. Beyond her teaching and counselling duties, Asana Salifu holds a distinct identity in the world of finance as a trained and practicing accountant. She currently serves as both the Productions Coordinator and Accountant of Eagle Sight Productions, a growing multimedia and film production company based in Accra. At Eagle Sight Productions, she combines her administrative prowess, financial acumen, and passion for the arts to support the company’s creative vision and operational goals. Her dual role reflects her exceptional ability to multi-task and her belief in the transformative power of storytelling and visual media.

Asana’s involvement in film and media is not coincidental. From a young age, she has harbored an “impeccable love” for film and the arts, a passion that continues to shape her worldview. Her presence in the creative industry is both deliberate and visionary; she uses her counselling skills to support script development, cast management, and thematic integrity, ensuring that productions not only entertain but also educate and inspire.
