Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale recently performed at the 2025 President's Cup, held at the Accra Sports Stadium on July 6, 2025. During his halftime show, he sang several hit songs, including his 2016 track "Mahama Paper," which got the crowd excited and singing along. Notably, President John Dramani Mahama was in attendance and even sang along to "Mahama Paper". Shatta Wale also gave President Mahama a shoutout, referring to him as the "smiling mafia".

The audience was fully engaged, dancing and singing along to Shatta Wale's music. Other prominent figures in attendance included government officials and notable personalities, who were all enjoying the performance. The event seemed to be a celebration of music, sports, and politics, with Shatta Wale's performance bringing everyone together.
