The Ote Dollar Foundation marked the 2025 Christmas season with a compassionate humanitarian gesture, bringing care, hope, and encouragement to elderly members of society through a house-to-house gift donation exercise in Cape Coast.
On Wednesday, 25th December 2025, the Foundation reached hundreds of elderly men and women across selected communities, including Abura, Esuekyir, Kawanopaado, and Enyitsewdo.
The initiative specifically targeted very old and immobile elderly persons, many of whom are confined to their rooms and unable to move freely, ensuring that the most vulnerable were not left behind during the festive season.
Members of the Ote Dollar Foundation team visited homes directly to deliver Christmas care packages, offering not only material support but also companionship and reassurance.
The personalized, house-to-house approach reflected the Foundation’s deep commitment to compassion and inclusivity, particularly for elderly individuals who are often overlooked due to age and physical limitations.

This Christmas outreach also served as a significant milestone, marking the fourth humanitarian activity undertaken by the Foundation in 2025, under the leadership and vision of the Executive Director of the Ote Dollar Foundation, Mr. Rockson Arthur, whose guidance continues to drive the organization’s mission of community-centered service.

The responses from beneficiaries, expressed through smiles, gratitude, and heartfelt words, highlighted the importance of caring for the elderly and reaffirmed the vital role of community support in promoting dignity, care, and well-being.

As the year draws to a close, the Ote Dollar Foundation calls on individuals, organizations, and stakeholders across society to add their voices and actions to the growing global effort to protect, respect, and support the elderly. Collective compassion and shared responsibility remain essential in building inclusive communities where no one is forgotten.

In a message to the public, the Executive Director, Mr. Rockson Arthur, extended warm seasonal greetings, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year, and reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian work in the coming year for the betterment of society.
