Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy has spoken out on the ongoing perception that several industry players, including himself, are constantly attacking fellow artiste Shatta Wale.

In a recent interview with the Headless YouTuber, Stonebwoy made it clear that no one is targeting or insulting the SM boss, but rather responding to his own actions and words.

According to Stonebwoy, no musician in the Ghanaian entertainment space wakes up in the morning with the intention of picking up a camera to insult or attack Shatta Wale. Instead, he explained, it is Shatta Wale who often goes online to rant, criticize, and pick fights with others — including those who have shown him nothing but respect.

"No artiste will just wake up in the morning, pick his camera, and go live to insult or attack Shatta Wale. But he does that — and not just once or twice. He goes hard on almost everyone in the industry,” Stonebwoy said.

The “Therapy” hitmaker added that Shatta Wale’s actions have made him his own enemy, as his frequent outbursts tend to push people away instead of bringing unity within the industry.

“Shatta Wale is his own enemy. He keeps ranting about issues and going hard on people unnecessarily. That’s why people react the way they do — it’s not an attack, it’s a reaction,” Stonebwoy clarified.

Stonebwoy emphasized the need for maturity, unity, and mutual respect among musicians, noting that constant conflict only hinders the growth of the Ghanaian music industry.
