Singer and songwriter, Boabis has sadly revealed how a road accident he had last year truncated his plans to embark on a tour of Europe.

After collaborating with Congolese-based African artiste, Stolpi on 'Champagne', Boabis couldn't do much promo because of the impediments of his accident.

In an interview on Cape Coast-based Property FM, he revealed "I was about to embark on a European tour and unfortunately I was involved in an accident and so since then I've not been able to release any new songs.

"After my surgery at Koforidua St. Joseph hospital due to my accident, I had to do medical treatment, and when I came home too, I had herbal treatment in addition.

"Though I'm not 100 percent alright, in terms of wearing a shoe, driving, and doing some other little things, I'm able to do it, though it's not like previously.

"There's been big improvements in my life since I had the accident, and it's something that God has done for me, for which I'm always grateful for being alive," he told Amansan Krakye via Showbiz on Property.
