Two popular social media influencers are recovering after a terrifying accident in Houston, where an SUV plowed through a restaurant’s glass wall in the middle of their livestream.

The victims, identified as Nina Santiago (known online as “NinaUnrated”) and her partner Patrick Blackwood, were dining at CuVee’s Culinary Creations on Saturday night when the incident occurred. The duo, known for their food review content, had just started filming when the black SUV slammed directly into their booth.

“Glass flew everywhere it was like something out of a movie,” Santiago later shared, recalling how the impact came just as she was taking a bite of her meal. Video from their livestream shows the moment of chaos, with screaming diners and shattered glass scattering across the floor.

Both Santiago and Blackwood sustained minor cuts and lacerations and were transported to a nearby hospital. They were treated and released the same night, with doctors confirming they are expected to make a full recovery.

Investigators say the crash was caused by the driver mistakenly accelerating while attempting to park. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that alcohol was not involved and described the collision as a “freak accident.”

Restaurant owner Ivory Watkins expressed gratitude that no lives were lost, adding that repairs are already underway. “We are thankful everyone walked away alive,” he said. The restaurant reopened the following day, encouraging patrons to show support by dining in.

The incident has since gone viral, with clips from the influencers’ livestream circulating widely across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Santiago, reflecting on the ordeal, told her followers: “Tomorrow is not promised. We’re grateful to be alive.
