Ghana's National Daily Minimum Wage (NDMW) would rise by 10% in 2025 to GH₵19.97, according to the National Tripartite Committee (NTC). At a meeting on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in Accra, the decision was made.

Compliance is mandatory for all organizations, institutions, and businesses.

The pay adjustment is a component of continuous initiatives to guarantee workers receive fair remuneration while striking a balance between corporate viability and economic stability.

"That the Base Pay on the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS) has been increased by 10% across board from January 2025 to December 2025," the NTC said in a press release.

Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo made the following announcement on Thursday, February 20, in Accra: "The national daily minimum pay has increased by 10% above the 2024 National Daily Minimum pay, resulting in a new national daily minimum wage of 19.97 Cedis.

“The effective date for the implementation of the 2025 minimum wage shall be the first of March 2025; all establishments, institutions, or organizations whose daily minimum wages are below the new wage should adjust accordingly.”
