The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ekumfi District Assembly, Mr. Ismaeel Nana Asmoah, has appealed to Assembly Members of Ekumfi to put aside their political differences and work towards a common goal to help achieve the development of Ekumfi.
In an exclusive interview with Hajia Asana Gordon shortly after his confirmation, Nana Asamoah again encouraged Assembly members to identify potentials in their various areas and explore opportunities that bring in resources, enabling them to create more opportunities for themselves.
"We must work together, leveraging our unique skills and experience to drive progress", Nana Asamoah emphasised.
He mentioned that “Ekumfi District is rich in history and natural resources, providing a solid foundation for development.” He promised to tackle infrastructural development, provide job creation opportunities, and improve agribusiness, thereby enhancing economic development within the district to attract investors.
"We want to create favourable business environment, leveraging our strategic location and natural resources to attract investors" Nana Asmoah disclosed.
Touching on infrastructural development, he promised to work with Assembly Members to prioritize infrastructural development, which will include roads, markets, and other public amenities to enhance the quality of citizens' lives.
Nana Asamoah promised to promote agricultural entrepreneurship, provide support to farmers and entrepreneurs in unlocking the district's full potential. "I and my assembly members will ensure that we take full advantage of the farming sector by empowering the youth to contribute to the district's development," he stated.
"Let's rise to the challenge, embracing our roles as stakeholders in this development journey. I urge all citizens, both at home and abroad, to join hands regarding Ekumfi's development drive", the new DCE appealed.
