The issue of Christians pasting a sticker of their pastor at their workplace became topical after boxer Joseph Sackey was seen wearing a ‘miracle sticker’ of Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah during his bout with British fighter Abdul Kahn.
The sticker, commonly used by followers of the Believers Worship Centre for spiritual protection and favour, was prominently displayed on his boxing shorts after suffering a fifth-round defeat.
Responding to this ongoing phenomenon, the songwriter and dynamic Gospel musician Kingsford Kofi Menkah said stickers don't perform instant miracles.
"If my pastor prophesies about me and gives me his sticker to put it on my hand or paste it at my workplace, it doesn't guarantee instant miracles," he told Amansan Krakye in an interview.
"When you open your shop or go to your workplace with the sticker, but you insult customers who buy from you, what results will it yield.
"All these things like stickers are not from God if you don't act right, so going into a boxing fight with a sticker doesn't guarantee your success," he disclosed.
He continued, "If you prepare adequately, you make God's prophesy about you so easy, so if you don't do that, you'll always fail despite the sticker".
