Michael Kwamena Badu, a seasoned security and intelligence professional who serves as security coordinator at Ghana EXIM Bank, has been enstooled as Nii Badu Nablah Ahinsah II, the Jaasetse of the Kpone Traditional Area.
The enstoolment ceremony, held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 was steeped in rich cultural tradition, with the performance of customary rites bringing together traditional leaders, family members, residents, and invited guests in a display of unity and reverence.
Chiefs and representatives from Akwamu were present to affirm the historical roots of the Kpone Jaase stool and to underscore the enduring ties between the two traditional areas.
Known in private life as Mr. Badu, the newly enstooled chief brings to the stool extensive expertise in security and intelligence, a career defined by discipline, strategic acumen, and dedicated service.
Over the years, he has held key roles including security coordinator, operations manager, head of security, health, safety and environment (HSE) lead, senior private investigator, and close protection officer. His areas of competence span surveillance systems, intelligence gathering, risk assessment, VIP protection, and crisis management—with a consistent focus on proactive planning and operational efficiency.
In his address, Nii Badu Nablah Ahinsah II called on the people of Kpone to unite and actively support development initiatives within the traditional area. He stressed that peace, cooperation, and collective responsibility are essential pillars for sustainable growth.
He further noted that his leadership would be guided by discipline, integrity, and a commitment to building structured systems that promote stability, security, and progress.
Elders and dignitaries present at the ceremony expressed strong confidence in his leadership and pledged their full support for advancing development in the Kpone Traditional Area.
The enstoolment marks the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, with high expectations that the chief will leverage his extensive professional background to strengthen traditional governance and drive meaningful development initiatives.
