Arsenal F.C., league leaders in the ongoing 2025/26 Premier League season, were beaten 2–1 by Manchester City F.C. at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, April 19.

Mikel Arteta expressed disappointment with the result but remained encouraged by his team’s performance, insisting they still have a strong chance of winning the title.

He said:
“It’s not over in the title race. There is still so much to play for.”

He further emphasized:
“We have full belief that we can do it. We’ve been doing it.”
“Today we showed, again, the team that we are. It’s in our hands, and it’s there for the taking.”
