Ghanaian businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Engineers and Planners, Ibrahim Mahama, has converted his former private jet into an emergency air ambulance to support public medical response in Ghana.
The aircraft departed Ghana on April 3, 2026, to undergo specialised modifications, including the installation of life-support systems required for emergency medical evacuations.
The development follows reports of his recent acquisition of a new Bombardier Global 6500 aircraft. Responding to questions about the status of his previous jet in a video shared on social media, he stated that the aircraft had been repurposed to serve the public.
