Ghana’s senior national team head coach, Otto Addo, is set to announce his squad for two international friendlies on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. These friendlies are part of the Black Stars’ preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in June.


Ghana will kick off against Austria on March 27 at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium, before facing Germany three days later in Stuttgart.


In addition to these fixtures, the Black Stars are scheduled to play against Wales and Mexico ahead of the World Cup. The match with Mexico is set for May, with the venue and date yet to be confirmed, while the game against Wales will take place on June 2 at Cardiff City Stadium in Cardiff.


For the World Cup, the Black Stars have been drawn in Group L. They will open their campaign against Panama on June 17, face a tough challenge against England on June 23, and wrap up the group stage against Croatia on June 27.
