A storekeeper at Tatale Senior High School in the Northern Region is under scrutiny after being caught allegedly attempting to steal food supplies from the school’s store, thanks to the vigilance of students.

The incident, which unfolded in Tatale, has gone viral on social media, showing the storekeeper clutching food items while students confronted him with shouting and commotion.

Reports indicate that the students had grown suspicious of missing foodstuffs and decided to monitor the store. Their quick action reportedly led to the storekeeper being intercepted along with an accomplice while they tried to remove the items.

Sources familiar with the matter revealed, “When the students shouted, the storekeeper ran away, leaving the other man behind.”

The Northern Regional Director of Education has been notified, and a comprehensive investigation has been ordered to determine the full circumstances surrounding the alleged theft.

Tatale Senior High School officials have confirmed the incident and emphasized that appropriate steps are being taken while the investigation is ongoing.
