President John Dramani Mahama has inspected the 80-kilometre Jinijini–Sampa Road in the Berekum West District as part of his ongoing “Resetting Ghana Tour,” reaffirming his commitment to infrastructure development and grassroots engagement.
During the visit, President Mahama interacted with local chiefs, community leaders, and residents, using the opportunity to gather first-hand feedback on the progress of the road project and its impact on surrounding communities. The engagement allowed citizens to voice their concerns and expectations, while also highlighting the significance of the project to the area.
Addressing stakeholders, the President stressed the critical role of quality road networks in enhancing trade, improving mobility, and driving economic growth. He noted that well-developed infrastructure remains a key pillar in unlocking the economic potential of various regions across the country.
President Mahama also underscored ongoing efforts to maintain macroeconomic stability, describing it as essential for sustaining national growth and improving the living standards of Ghanaians. He reiterated that infrastructure investments must go hand in hand with sound economic management to deliver meaningful and lasting development.
The Jinijini–Sampa Road inspection forms part of a broader strategy under the “Resetting Ghana Tour,” aimed at ensuring that major development projects are executed efficiently while addressing the real needs of citizens nationwide.
