Sidik wins Aviation Social Centre Tennis

Accra, May 8, GNA - Abubakari Sidik beat Felix Asante 9-2 in the finals to win this year's Aviation Social Centre Open Tennis Championship which ended in Accra on Sunday.
Sidik, who exhibited his prowess with dangerous services throughout the game, received a giant trophy, a fully connected Kasapa Mobile Phone and a Voltic travelling bag as his prize while Asante had a weekend for two at Busia Beach Resort and a travelling bag.
In the Men's Doubles finals, the pair of Patrick Banka and Abeiku Bentsi beat Kwesi Nkansah and his partner, Kojo Essel 9-3 to lift the trophy while Abdenatu Odoi beat Zenabu Akoto 9-5 in the Ladies Singles. The three-day event was sponsored by Golden Tulip Hotel, Busia Beach Resort, Voltic Mineral Water and Kasapa.
Miss Brigitte Dzogbenuku, General manager of the Aviation Social Centre, lauded the participants for their good show. She called on the youth to take active interest in the sport to remain healthy. 08 May 06
