Tesano Tennis club put up an impressive display to whitewash Achimota Tennis Club
6-2 in a special Eid al-Fitr holiday Tennis Competition played at the Tesano Sports Club.

The away team, Achimota Tennis Club, began the tournament on a bright note as Prince Abloh defeated Dan Adjetey 7-2. The home team redeemed their image as Desmond Sackey ousted Owuo Evans 7-3.

In the mixed doubles games, the hosts, Tesano Tennis Club, had high hopes as they went into the mixed double games with Anthony and Shila combining well to displace Achimota Tennis club Owuo Evans and Tricia Karikari 7-6(3).

MP for Okaikwei Central Constituency, Hon. Patrick Boamah and his doubles partner Paa Kwasi Yankah relied heavily on home support, held onto their serves and walloped their opponents Harrison Akpable and Raymond Okrofu 7-0. Their win also inspired Jeremiah Djangmah and Aabha to defeat Jude and Alex 7-4. Jeremiah and Aabha's match was described as one of the best games in the competition.

The home dominance continued as the Captain of the club Andy Daniels' combined effectively with Allen Mens proved too strong for Kwame Asomaning- Gyimoh and Bruce Orine and won 7-1. Dick Anyadi and coach Charles Tetteh Oboubi won 7-4 over Peprah Ampratum and Ike Adjei. Eric Longdon paired with Anthony to beat Gerald and Emmanuel 7-3.

However, Elvis Dwamena and Robert Adjei, however, turned the tables around for the Achimota team with a fabulous play spiced with creativity, precision and power in the game and won 7-4 against Mr. Harold Kwapong and Blonde Odagwe. Peprah Ampratum and Emmanuel Karikari next stepped onto the court blazing from all angles to pull another win for Achimota team, beating Andy Daniels and Mohammad 7-4.
