Senior tennis players to test strength

Accra, March 4, GNA - Senior members of the Accra Tennis Club will on Thursday test their strength in a one day Tennis Championship. The competition under the sponsorship of Sportnet Ghana Limited, which is opened to only senior members of the Club, forms part of the 51st Anniversary celebrations of Ghana's Independence. According to the sponsors, only doubles event will be played in the competition and will be opened to all interested double players. At stake will be attractive prizes for outstanding players and the overall winners.

The occasion will also be used to commission a new tennis sports club at the venue.

This is to enable tennis lovers to have easy access to tennis equipment at affordable and competitive prices. 04 March 08
