The first round of National Junior Tennis ends this weekend as Stadium B Tennis Club stayed with BabooSports Academy at the top of the National Junior Tennis League table.

League leaders Stadium B Tennis continued their unbeaten run as they outwitted Army Officers Tennis Club at Accra Sports Stadium Tennis Courts. Stadium B won 3-0 in the 12 & under, 3-0 in the 14 & under and also 2-1 in the 16 & under. Second place, BabooSports Academy, is now the best away side in the first round with five wins and one lose. The Tema based side traveled to Ghana Tennis Club, Adabraka and won 2-1 in the 12&and under 3-0 in the 14&and under and 3-0 in the 16 and under.

Elsewhere, at the Atomic Tennis Club House. Atomic Tennis Club was able to defeat Korle-Bu tennis Club 2-1 in the 12&under, 3-0 in the 14&under and 2-1 in the 16 & under.

Meanwhile, Kalatec has to change their home venue from Kaneshie Sports to Tesano Club House due to the renovation of the sports complex but the change of venue did not help either as Kalatec suffered their sixth defeat of the season after a 3-0 in the 12 and under, 3-0 in the 14 and under and 2-1 in the 16 and under at the hands of Stadium A Tennis Club. Kalatec have now gone 5 matches without picking a single point.

The National Junior Tennis League returns on 26th March 2018.
