McDan Junior Open quarter finals set for today

The quarter finals stages of the McDan Junior Open Championship is scheduled to take place today at the Tennis courts of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The week-long tournament begun on Monday with over 100 children between the ages of 8 to 16 taking part in the clinic which seeks to propel them into the future.

The young lads displayed their various skills in tennis to the apex as some oust their counterparts to reach the quarter finals of the McDan Junior Open .

Potential players will be selected by coaches to represent Ghana at the African Junior Open which will be held in Morocco next month whilst the winners of the championship will receive educational scholarships, tennis equipment and souvenirs from sponsors.

The sponsors for this year’s McDan Juniors Tennis Open are McDan Group, AfWest Security, Trillium Ghana Ltd and Nationwide Mutual Health Insurance.
