Junior Black Loopers Flies Out Today

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Ghana's junior table tennis side, the Junior Black Loopers, will leave the country on Thursday for the African Juniors and Cadets Championship, slated for Egypt from April 3-13, at Alexandria in Egypt.

The Secretary General of the Ghana Table Tennis Association(GTTA), Kwame Amponfi Jnr told this reporter yesterday that "All is set for the trip, the players are well conditioned and appear ready for the task ahead."

The players making the trip are Obuobi Dorothy, Asafo Adjei Gloria, Akayade Samuel, Asante Emmanuel, Borquaye Bernice, Ketu Akosua, Kwabi Cynthia and Ampah Adjoa Comfort.

The rest are Mensah Philip, Abrefa Derek, Lartey Felix, and Baba Jebrila .

The officials are Owusu-Ansah Anthony, Head Coach, Addo-Owusu Joseph, Assistant coach, while Yaboi Emmanuel is the umpire.
