Crystal Palace have handed a trial to Ghana defender Daniel Quaye. The 25-year-old, who did not feature for The Black Stars at the World Cup this summer, has been training with the south Londoners.

Palace boss Peter Taylor said: "He played okay in the reserve game. He has been training with us, and remains here on that basis."
