Man Utd Still After Asamoah

It is reported Manchester United have made enquiries after Udinese duo Kwadwo Asamoah and Mehdi Benatia.

There were already newspaper stories last week suggesting United had a €12m offer for Asamoah rejected by the club.

Juventus are known to be in negotiations for the Ghanaian midfielder, although they too have failed to reach an agreement so far.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Sir Alex Ferguson has sent his scouts to begin talks for both Asamoah and Benatia.

However, Udinese are eager to keep hold of the defender and have set a €20m price-tag on his head.
