Latif Blessing scores first goal for Los Angeles FC

Ghana international Latif Atta Blessing opened his goal scoring account for Los Angeles FC on Sunday night.

Newly-Promoted Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC held on Vancouver Whitecaps to 4-4 stalemate in a preseason game.

Carlos Vela opened the score with stunning free kick for Los Angeles FC before a brace from Anthony Brondell and a 38th minute strike from Yordy Reyna ended the first half in a 3-1 victory in favor of Whitecaps.

The 21-year-old pulled one back for the Black and Gold lads with cool finish thirty seconds after the break.

A 78th minute penalty kick which was neatly converted by Carlos Vela and an own goal from Benny Feilhaber ended the match in a eight-goal thriller.

He lasted for the entire duration of the match.

Blessing joined Los Angeles FC from Sporting Kansas City during the 2017 MLS Expansion Draft after a season stay where he netted six goals with two assists in his 31 appearances.
