Empoli supporters name Afriyie Acquah as their best player

Ghana midfield kingpin, Afriyie Acquah has been voted as Empoli Player of the Month by the club's supporters.

The 26-year-old has been on an impressive run for the club in their last six matches for the October and November.

Acquah is a key member for Giuseppe Iachini's side who are struggling to move up the ladder in the Serie A.

He made a transfer deadline season-long loan move from Torino but has become a regular of the team.
