*Alhaji Aliu Mahama was made to sign a secret undertaking relinquishing his right to contest the NPP presidential candidate slot in 2008; and that President J. A. Kufuor and his close advisers insisted on the undertaking before agreeing to re-nominate Aliu as running mate; and that Aliu Mahama was made to swear on the Koran before three powerful Mallams from Niger and Togo residing in Ghana as guests of President Kufuor, and that the undertaking was to prevent Aliu from disturbing the Kufuor plan to impose Allan Kyeremanteng on the NPP as his successor?
