Dr. Apraku The Demagogue - Rejoinder

To whom it may concern,
I would like to take this opportunity to express my extreme disappointment regarding one of the articles submitted on the Rumor Mill page of Ghana Web. This article was about Dr. Apraku entitled "Dr. Apraku the Demagogue."

It is the job of the editor to provide unbaised legitimate information and not to record false accusations as fact. This is irresponsible journalism.

Firstly, in no way, shape or form is Kwame Nuako, related to Dr Apraku. He was hired because he was qualified for the job at hand. The same is held true for Dr. Boakye, though he is a relative of the minister, that is not why he was appointed for the position, it was based on his abilitiy to perform which he has been doing since his appointment.

I can not begin to tell you how much of a personal sacrifice the minister as well as other government officials have made to try to give back to their beloved country Ghana, and articles like the one submitted undermine all the hard work these people put in, day in and day out.

It is unfair to be critizied by outsiders who do not take the time and the effort to research their stories. Have you ever meet Dr. Apraku personally? Have you ever had the opportunity to engage in a conversation with him? If you had, you would have seen for yourself the kind of person he is.....he is not a man who "has hatred for all those who fall outside of his circle of confidants" but instead a man who is deeply passionate about his work and is commited to the Kuffour administration. Though this may have been an attempt to break his spirit, I would like to let you know that, as always Dr. Apraku will continue to move forward and work for the well being of the Ghanaian people and his country.

Also I would like to clarify the accusations about the "Akomadan Mansion".....that house was in the process of being built well before Dr. Apraku became a minister, and it would be foolish to think that a man of his educational background of economics and finance could not have saved enough of his own personal money to build himself somewhere to stay when he visits his village as so many other people do.

Lets not forget that he had a prestigious job of his own before he decided to sacrifice that, to become an MP of government and then a minister. Now that you have slandered his good name and have tried to ruin his credibility among the Ghanaian community I think after posting this article for nearly a week now..it is time to move on to some new gossip.

Thank you for taking the time to read what I have to say.
