Ghana To Have An Adulterous Second Lady?

In the unlikely event Nana Akufo-Addo, the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) wins this year’s December 07 presidential election, Ghana is likely to have an adulterous second lady, a reputation unprecedented in the history of Mother Ghana.

On page Thirty Four (34) of the latest edition of the Africawatch magazine (April 2012), it was reported that Mahamudu Bawumia , “has admitted to party leaders that he is going through a very difficult time in his marriage with Samira Ramadan, following allegations that his wife was having an affair.” “He assured the party that, he would not seek divorce, but instead, would reach an understanding with his wife to avoid any distraction in the campaign “, the magazine has reported.

However, sources close to the NPP vice-presidential candidate has hinted that, Samira will cease to be the better-half of Bawumia, soon after the general elections; whether the NPP wins or not.

According to this paper’s reliable source, Bawumia feels very disgraced that Samira has brought his name into disrepute; following media reports of her alleged sexual relationship with another man, hence his decision to call it quit, just after the elections.

Asked why after the election, the source said Bawumia has promised party leaders not to do anything unseemly, to destroy the fortunes of the party, as far as this year’s election is concerned. But he has indicated that soon after the elections, whether the party wins or not, he will show Samira the exit; since the disgrace she has brought on to him is very damaging to his persona “I know Bawumia and will not be surprised he gives the wife the marching out orders “, the source further stated, saying, even though the decision is not the best, Samira should have known better, the source concludes.
