Essien dating glamour model Cassie
According to an English tabloid ("toli") newspaper, Sunday Mirror, Chelsea star Michael Essien is dating an ex-girlfriend of Prince Harry.
The footballer scored with glamour model Cassie Sumner after they met at London's Chinawhite club in January. Essien and Cassie, both 23, have since spent a lot of time together at his mansion in Cobham, Surrey.
The Ghanaian international, who moved to the Premiership champions from French club Lyon for ?24million 14 months ago, has lavished gifts and luxury holidays on the Spanish-born model.
A friend revealed: "Cassie has dated footballers before, but her relationship with Michael is different. Over the months it has become really serious."Cassie made headlines two years ago when she drank cocktails with Prince Harry at Chinawhite.
