U.S. Government Dares Kwamina Ahwoi (1)

A source at the United States Embassy in Accra has called the bluff of Mr. Kwamina Ahwoi, one of the leading members of the NDC on the issue of what has become known as the "Soussoudis - CIA Affair'.

Mr. Ahwoi had said that the NRC should seek the authorization of the US government to enable him break 'silence' agreed on by the two governments in the 1980s.

According to the paper, the source said, "we (the United States government) are not aware of any code of silence between the two governments. Mr. Ahwoi is a Ghanaian citizen and has the freedom to say whatever he wants to say".
