Peace FM Sabotaged?
Accra, Mon March 12 -- Former president Rawlings was billed to speak on a local FM station - Peace FM this morning at 8:30 (both Ghana and GM Time). For strange reason the FM station has been off-air since 7:25 this morning. Snippers have it that attempts were made to coerce the FM station to suspend the program because of the impending trip to the Queen's Land this evening by president Kufour but the station resisted and was emphatic that since it was not easy to get the former president to speak on radio they wont let the opportunity slip by.
It would be recalled that president Kufour gave a similar life interview to this same Akan FM radio station last week.
