NPP Spying On Infiltrators

?The Ghana Palaver? counter-intelligence undercover agents within the NPP have reported that on Sunday 17th July 2005, a meeting was held at the official residency of the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Sheikh I. C. Quaye. Present at the meeting were the Regional Minister, the Metropolitan Chief Executive, Nii Stanley Agyiri-Blankson, and the former Ghana Football Association Chairman, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe.

Present also was a group of young boys and men recruited for what was described as a ?special assignment?. The ?special assignment?, as explained to them, was for them to infiltrate the NDC campaign teams in the Odododiodoo constituency as well as NDC strongholds in the constituency, pretend to be aggrieved supporters and sympathizers of the NDC who have defected, pledge their support for the independent candidate, and do maximum damage to the NDC ?by any means possible?.

For this ?disinformation? campaign, the group was paid ?500,000 each, which were contained in envelopes with the following inscriptions:

?Your heroic and dedicated fight for the restoration of democracy for the people of Ghana is acknowledged?.

Best Wishes

His Excellency President J. A. Kufuor
