More Revelations on NPP Recruited EC Officials As …

NPP AND EC COMPILE LIST OF WHERE TO PERPETRATE FRAUD

…. The Rigging Machine is very wide and frightening

On Wednesday December 24, 2008, the True Democrat published a front page story exposing some officials working with the Electoral Commission (EC) having attended a secret meeting at a hotel in Accra. We reported that they met agents of Akufo-Addo, at which evaluation of their rigging activities were discussed. The latest information from our sources has it that more senior officers in selected regions of Ghana have been compromised and are allegedly conniving and condoning fraudulent acts to steal the people’s mandate for Akufo-Addo.

This ‘evil’ act included a comprehensive list of selected constituencies where the NPP EC officials have made in-roads in recruiting some of the District Election Officers, Returning Officers, Presiding Officers and Polling Assistants to assist with the stealing agenda. The names of some of the EC officials, who our -intelligence revealed have shown open bias and determination to ensure Akufo Addo and NPP victory are Paul Boateng, Eastern Regional Director of the EC, James A. Yeboah, Brong-Ahafo Regional Director and Aex Akubia, the Upper West Regional Director of the EC. The others are Lawrence Sarpong, Ashanti Deputy Regional Director and Isaac Owusu, also Ashanti Deputy Regional director..

True Democrat intelligence has also been provided with the list of the constituencies where the NPP plans to rig the election. In the Eastern Region, where reports fed us by our sources have confirmed the massive deployment of NPP goons and their allies from Magnum Security, the areas earmarked are the following: 1 Kwaebibirem, 2. Ofoase/Ayinesi, 3. Abetifi, 4. Suhum, 5. Mpraeso, 6. Fanteakwa, 7.Lower West Akim 8. Abirem, 9. Okere, 10. Nkawkaw 11. New Juaben North and South, 12. Akyem Oda, 13. Akim Swedru, 14. Akropong, 15. Abuakwa South and North, and 16. Atiwa

In the Greater Accra Region, we have been provided with a document prepared by the NPP, with the tacit approval of the compromised EC officials to do everything in their power to steal in six constituencies. These are Ayawaso Central, Ablekuma North, Tema East and West, Weija and Okaikoi North and South. For example, in Okaikoi North, there are reports that some of the EC officials assisted the NPP agents and voters to do multiple voting in the first round.

For Upper West, the rigging syndicate is convinced that they can manipulate the process and juggle the figures in Sissala West, Wa East, and Lawra in order to shore up their votes and declare themselves as the victors. The determination of the EC officials, who have either been tempted with hard cash or other inducements to steal the election for Akufo Addo is very disturbing indeed. As we analyzed the rigging document, we finally came to the list of constituencies targeted for their fraudulent acts in the Ashanti Region. They have been listed as follows: Asokwa, Atwima Nwabiagya, Oforikrom, Kwabre West and East, Nyiaeso and Kwadaso. The others are Sekyere East and West, Asokore, Bosome Freho (Amansie East), Odotobiri, Beposo (Sekyere West), Fomena and Amansie West. The rest are Bantama, Suame amd Manhyia.

It is the concern of the intelligence sources that the EC Chairman, Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan asserts his authority and to ensure that these officials being accused are not allowed to mar the process. The depth of fraudulent tactics drawn by the NPP to steal the presidential run-off and the huge indulgence of some officials of the EC both at the national, regional and district levels as well as returning officers must be a source of worry to all genuine believers in constitutional democracy.
