Ghana Telecom Being Run Down

There are rumors that Ghana Telecom (GT) is intentionally being run down to make it valueless.

GT is now pregnant with a lot of Norwegians who actually do nothing, but walk around the company as students on excursion on weekdays and go round Ghana as tourist on weekends. Ghana wants to develop its tourism industry, but those who want to come as tourist should do so, but not as a guise to work for GT.

These Norwegians are paid an amount not less than $8,000-a-month salary. They are housed in very plush areas of the capital, they have fuelled vehicles at their disposal and some even present receipts on cigarettes they buy for reimbursement.

If GT has so much money to waste, then why are we crying of inadequate funds to expand?

The union who should act has been gagged and recently they were given 2.5 billion cedis.

This is an appeal to Prof. Mike Ocquaye the new minister for Communication.

"Prof, I think your first priority should be the cleansing of Ghana Telecom(GT). If you act, God will bless you for coming to the aid of GT, if you also don?t act like your predecessor and wait for GT to be another Ghana Airways posterity will judge us all." - concerned worker of GT
