The Vicar General of Wiawso Diocese, Reverend Monsignor Simon Assamoah, has advised Christians to serve with humility anywhere they find themselves in positions of Trust.

He said even Jesus Christ who died on the cross to save humanity humbled himself.

Reverend Assamoah who doubles as the Parish Priest of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Enchi said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency as Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He said recently the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo talked about political vigilantism, stressing that, Ghanaians could avoid that by humbling themselves.

Rev Msgr Assamoah said Christ’s resurrection signified a new life for Christians all over the world as having a new life in Christ implied that Christians should renew and change their attitude and strive to emulate Him.

He entreated Christians to ponder over the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and let it manifest in their daily lives and called on them to endeavor to cultivate his goodness to draw more people to the kingdom of God.

The Vicar General of Wiawso Diocese encouraged Christians to remain steadfast in the Lord.
