CACI elects Apostle George Yeboah as new Chairman

The Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) has elected Apostle George Yeboah as the new Chairman to succeed Apostle Dr. Stephen Kwame Ntow Amoani.

At the 62nd General Council Meeting, Apostle Yeboah, who is also the Territorial Apostle, Accra East Territory passed a two-level test to emerge the 8th leader of the first Pentecostal movement in Africa.

The election took place yesterday February 28th, 2019 at the headquarters of the Christ Apostolic Church International, Osu, Accra.

He secured a total of 359 votes out of the 655 total valid votes cast by the Electoral College, comprising members of the Executive Council, Area Heads, Territorial Apostles, all ministers and representatives from Areas and Territories.

The General Council also elected Rev. Amponsah Frimpong as General Secretary; Apostle Enoch Osafo as Field Director; Apostle Joseph Arhin as Christian Education Director; Apostle Prosper Agbablo Dogbey as Evangelism Director; Rev Addai Kusi as Missions Director; and Apostle George Morklah as Prophetic Director.

The outgoing Chairman, Apostle Dr Amoani on behalf of the General Council of the Church, congratulated the Chairman-elect, Apostle George Yeboah, on his election to the highest office of the Church.

In his response, the chairman-elect Apostle George Yeboah gave glory to God for granting him the opportunity to serve in the highest office of the Church.

He also thanked the outgoing Chairman and the General Council for reposing the confidence in him to lead the Church.

Profile of Apostle George Yeboah



Apostle George Yeboah was born in Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region.

He completed Techiman Secondary School and proceeded to Agric College at Ejura in the Ashanti Region and obtained a Diploma certificate in Agriculture.

He also holds a diploma and B.A in Theology from the Christ Apostolic Church Bible training School and Christ Apostolic University College respectively.

In addition, he holds a Masters Certificate in Guidance and Counselling at the Methodist University College, Ghana,

Apostle George Yeboah has worked as a full-time minister for 25 years.

Apostle George Yeboah is married to Mrs Stella Yeboah and together are blessed with five children - four boys and a girl.
