Royal Apostles Youth Choir marks 10 years

The Royal Apostles Youth Choir of Saint Peter & Paul Catholic Church at New Aplaku near Weija in Accra on Sunday launched activities to mark its 10th-anniversary celebrations.
The choir which was formed out of passion in 2009, has performed very well over the years in all spheres life.
The yearlong event will see the choir organise a musical seminar for all the choirs at the parish, where resource persons will be invited to teach these choirs some musical theories and expand on the role of music in the liturgy.
The choir will also organise a retreat and an outreach programme at the SVD retirement home at McCarthy Hill in Accra to prepare the choristers spiritually for their celebrations.
Royal 10th-anniversary concert (White Carol) will be followed by the launch of their maiden Royal album where patrons will get a compilation of great hymns, canticles and anthems of the choir.
The theme for the celebration is ‘Rooted in him and abounding in thanksgiving’, Colossians 2:7.
