“Now they are calling bishops and high priests to go and beg because of cars. We will begin to know the owners of all those fuel stations springing up every day in the corners of this nation,” are the words Methodist Bishop Most Reverend Awotwi Pratt who is also accusing politicians of rewarding ‘babies with Sharp teeth’.

Ghanaians were first told by former President Rawlings about how young men who insult adults in Ghanaian politics have been rewarded, calling them ‘babies with sharp teeth’.

The Methodist Bishop, Most Rev Titus Awotwi Pratt has breathed more life into the statement by emphasizing that young politicians who insult adults are the ones who get rewarded.

Speaking at the Thanksgiving Service at the Wesley Methodist Cathedral Church in Cape Coast for the late Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, he said The late Amissah Arthur didn’t represent that type of politics and there was the need for young people to learn from him.

He called on Ghana and Ghanaians to rise above mediocrity.

“Speak the truth in our politics and you will never be promoted to any level, young boys and girls insult adults in public and they are given promotions and appointed to higher places, this is the type of politics in Ghana.” He said.

“Now they are calling bishops and high priests to go and beg because of cars. We will begin to know the owners of all those fuel stations springing up every day in the corners of this nation,” Most Reverend Awotwi Pratt said.
