The Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM) is to build an ultra-modern church complex at Oyarifa, near Madina in the Greater Accra Region, to expand the propagation of the gospel.

The project, which is expected to be completed by the year 2020, is being financed through voluntary contributions and fundraising activities.

Reverend Steve Mensah, the General Overseer, disclosed this at the 30th Anniversary celebration of the Church at Agbogba in Accra on Sunday.

It was on the theme: ‘’Celebrating God for 25 Years as a Church and 30 years as an Evangelist’’.

Rev. Mensah said the project, when completed, would have an auditorium, a vocational centre, hospital, recreational centre, bible school, offices and a car park.

He said the Church had also acquired a 2,500-acre plot of land at Dodowa in the Shai-Osudoku District to build a disability village where the disabled would be given a vocational training.

The General Overseer said the church which started as an evangelistic fellowship in 1988, was almagamated to a church in 1993.

He said since then, the church had been able to transform many lives some of the people holding key positions.

Rev. Mensah said the church had also been able to open 126 branches including Ghana, Nigeria, The United Kingdom and the United States of America.

He urged Ghanaians to support the Government’s Free Senior-High School Policy to succeed.
