General Overseer of The Maker’s House Chapel has stated that one of the reasons for the massive spread of propaganda about the existence of Jesus Christ is because churches have failed to argue and spread the good news about Christ.

According to Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye, most preachers have lost credibility and as such “lack” the knowledge required to defend the Christian faith.

Speaking at the launch of the 4th edition of the Maker’s House Chapel International Experience Conference in Accra, Monday, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye explained that people continue to spread lies about the non-existence of Christ and that Jesus is not the Messiah just because Christians run away from defending the teachings of the Bible.

“… The reason for the massive spread of this kind of propaganda is because, as a church, we are not doing enough, we are not reaching out enough, the church is not getting into that kind of intellectual argument whereby we are able to put the right information out; for most people if somebody comes to them and start arguing on the biblical fact through history, archaeology, and science, they run away and quote that it’s not wise to engage in debate,” he stated.

Admonishing leaders not to shy away from proclaiming Jesus as the Messiah, he said, “We should be able to let the world what you know by moving from theory to a practical presentation of the Christ you experience by telling people about your encounter.”

To get rid of the claims that Christ does not exist, the man of God suggested that leaders should be well informed so they can continuously bombard the airwaves with the right analogy.

The Maker’s House Chapel launched its 4th annual international conference dubbed the 'Experience Conference' with the theme “JESUS, THE CHRIST” which aims at projecting Christ.

The event will be held from October 9 to 15 from 6pm to 9pm each day at the Maker’s Chapel House at Kwabenya, Accra.
