‘Some pastors are fake’

A man of God, Pastor Oppong, known as “Evangelist One Touch” who plies his trade at the Obra Spot at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in the Greater Accra region has alleged that most of the so-called ministers of the gospel are fake.

“Most pastors use tricks to perform their miracles so as to get more people to follow them.”

Evangelist One Touch said this over the weekend when he was preaching to a large crowd who were mostly passersby.

He demonstrated how these pastors perform their miracles always claiming,” they are all lies and that they do it just to deceive people to get them to follow them and also extract money from them.”

He explained that before the arrival of Charismatic movements in the country, there were only five (5) traditional churches. These, he said, were the Roman Catholic Church, the Anglican Church, the Presbyterian Church, Pentecost and the Methodist Church.

In an interview with Today, he stressed that “all these are tricks that most pastors these days use to get people to believe them and in turn deceive and dupe them.”

When asked if he had a problem with some pastors, he responded in the negative, saying he has no issue with any church or pastor but there are too many bad things going on and these churches and pastors are the cause.

“My worry is that these pastors help these bad things to go on without ensuring that there is peace in the country and that is the more reason why I want to expose them to the general public,” he stressed.

He, therefore, advised the public to attend churches that are from God and not those that are there to dupe them.
