Seventh Day Sabbath Church donates to widows

The Most Apostle Ephraim Kwaku Danso, General Overseer of Seventh Day Sabbath Church of Christ, has called on Ghanaians to show love towards widows and the physically challenged and offer them the needed assistance.

He said the rights of widows should be protected at all times and be treated with respect and dignity.

Apostle Danso made the call when the church donated food items, clothes, assorted drinks, wheel chairs, footwear and detergents to widows and the physically challenged at Anyaa in Accra on Saturday.

The occasion, dubbed; “Charity Fair” was on the theme: “Christianity without the Concept of Giving is not Worth Emulating”.

Apostle Danso said it was painful for anyone to lose the one he or she loved most, adding that in times of bereavement, people should put their trust in God and He will bless and save them and their households.

He expressed sympathy to them for their loss and encouraged them to have faith in the Lord.

Assistant Apostle Okoh Agyemang, Head of the Anyaa Branch of the church, urged the physically challenged not to see their situation as incapability but must strive hard to achieve their aims.

Baffour Kyei Mensah, a musician, was honoured for his immense contributions to the church.
