Harvest Praise 2013 slated for March 29

Harvest Praise 2013 is slated for Good Friday, March 29 at the Accra International Conference Centre, Mr Daniel Adjei, Chairman of the Planning Committee told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview in Accra on Friday.

Harvest Praise 2013, organised by Harvest Ministry International will feature Darwin Hobbs an American gospel musician noted for his vocal features to classic soul singer Luther Vandross.

Other artistes for Harvest Praise 2012 are Harvest Gospel Choir, Harvest Theatre, and scores of local artistes.

Mr Adjei said Harvest Praise began in 1998 as an initiative by Harvest International Ministries to give opportunity for many artistes in Ghana and abroad to minister the gospel.

The event has established itself as the programme of choice and exposure for many Gospel Musicians in Ghana for the Easter season.

Mr Adjei said the event also seeks to offer mankind an opportunity to remember the death of Jesus Christ, its relevance and the celebration of his victory on the cross.

Hobbs and his ensemble “The Darwin Hobbs Choir” have performed studio and live background vocals for artists such as Switchfoot, Jars of Clay, BeBe Winans, Marvin Winans, CeCe Winans, Michael W. Smith, T.D. Jakes, Shirley Murdock, Michael McDonald and others.

In April 2008, Darwin launched a brand new blogspot entitled, Break The Silence, which is geared to providing emerging leaders with the honest tools and perspectives necessary to become successful in life and in ministry.
