Founder Of Salvation House Chapel Int. Assumes Top Bishop Post

Senior Apostle James Obeng Nyantakyi, the Founder and General Overseer of the Salvation House Chapel International, has been successfully elevated to assume the top post of 1st Presiding Bishop and the Presiding Bishop of the Greater Accra regional Diocese at a special consecration ceremony held over the weekend at the church located within Dome, a suburb of Accra.
He is expected to double as the 1st Presiding Bishop and Greater Accra Regional Diocese Presiding Bishop of the Titus Episcopal Bishops College Worldwide.
The official consecration rights were done by officiating bishops who were also members of the Titus Episcopal Bishops College Worldwide.
The consecration team included Bishop Elijah Obeng Bonsu, (Presiding Prelate); Bishop Dr. and Mrs. Quagraine; Bishop Prince Alex Agbey; Bishop Clifford Dollar; Bishop Amoako Atta; Bishop Enoch A. Donkor and Apostle Charles Kwaku Ansong.
Others were Apostle Maxwell Hazriel; Apostle Ernest Agyenim Boateng; Rev. Sefa Boampong Samuel; Rev. George Nhyira; Rev. Comfort Agyei; Overseer Nti Ofosu Theophilus and Preacher Annang.
There was performance of some religious rights which was led by Bishop Elijah Obeng Bonsu, who took Senior Apostle James Obeng Nyantakyi through cross examination according to Christian doctrines, washing of his feet, wearing of the bishopric robe and the ultimate bishopric crown to officially confirm him as the 1st Presiding Bishop of the Greater Accra regional Diocese and Presiding Bishop of the Titus Episcopal Bishops College Worldwide.
Senior Apostle James Obeng Nyantakyi received and signed certificates which Included Certificate Of Bishopric Office And Seal Of Office and Certificate Of 1st Presiding Bishop And Greater Accra Regional Presiding Bishop Of Titus Episcopal Bishops College WorldWide. Other certificates of honour were sent to him from THE INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP OF COVENANT CHURCHES (IFOCC) and the OFFICE OF BISHOP L. GREGORY ANTHNIO SR. of Long Chapel Missionary Baptist Church U.S.A.
In his address, Bishop Elijah Obeng Bonsu prayed for wisdom and God's guidance upon the life of the newly elected bishop.
He indicated that he had known Senior Apostle James Obeng Nyantakyi to be a very hardworking man of God who ensures that there is total dedication of himself to God's work.
He said it as a result of these loyal Christian values that have seen him being consecrated to one of the highest ranks in the Bishop Episcopal Ministry.
“Senior Apostle James Obeng Nyantakyi has attained this position on the basis of a credible and authentic merit since who went through the system and has chalked this great feat. Senior Apostle James Obeng Nyantakyi did not buy this position from us with money but he has earned it through the hardwork and principles of God's ministry,” said Bishop Elijah Obeng Bonsu.
He further admonished other men of God to follow in the good footsteps of now elected Bishop James Obeng Nyantakyi rather than resorting to buying fake religious certificates and titles under very obvious circumstances.
In his acceptance speech, Bishop James Obeng Nyantakyi, said he was ever humbled and honoured for this great opportunity and new chapter God has opened in his life as a minister of God.
He indicated that the work of God is no joke hence it demanded an arduous task to ensure total self-discipline, loyalty, faithfulness and above all dedication to the principles of Jesus Christ, the son of God.
Bishop James Obeng Nyantakyi expressed his profound gratitude to the entire members of the church who he identified, has been very supportive throughout his ministry.
Touching on the impending General Elections on December 7th 2012, the respected bishop said voting is biblical therefore it was important for all manner of eligible voters including Christians to help vote leaders into national positions of importance.
“Elections are biblical and God endorses that leaders be chosen from time to time so I charge all Ghanaians remain calm and follow the due voting process to make the exercise successful. As you are all aware, elections are about sharing opinions therefore, it is important that we tolerate everyone's view in this democratic process,” Bishop James Obeng Nyantakyi pointed out.
He, however, admonished politicians to refrain from derogatory comments and casting innuendos that can incite violence and destabilize the relative peace Ghanaians are enjoying.
In his message for the youth, he urged the already peaceful Ghanaian youth to resist the exploitations of politicians who only use them for their cause in elections by creating violence and dumping them at the end.
