Ghanaian International Evangelist advocates "Kingdom minded" leaders

Accra, Aug. 11, GNA - Dr Lawrence Tetteh, a Ghanaian international evangelist, on Thursday called on the Church to strive to raise 93Kingdom minded persons", who would promote quality leadership to accelerate natio= nal development.

He noted that when Christians are in responsible positions; 93they should not cut corners, accept kick backs, tell lies, or display arrogance", he said in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra.

Dr Tetteh said: 93Those who rule over men must be just and rule in the fear of God and must not shy away from their religious convictions." He asked people in political positions professing to be Christians to live by the teachings of the Bible and not to allow the pressures of the world to sway them away from righteousness.

"If all politicians are living by the teachings of the Bible and sta= y clear from corruption, can you imagine the huge savings Ghana could make to boost national development?" He asked.

Dr Tetteh said Christians should not flow with the tide but rather against the tide, adding: 93Christians should strife Godly right and not politically right."
