Winners Chapel Int'l celebrates birthday of Bishop David Oyedepo

The Tema Community 9 branch of the Church of Living Faith, popularly known as Winners Chapel International celebrated the 60th birthday of the founder, Bishop David O. Oyedepo.

On Sunday the 28th of September, members, invited guests and well wishers convened at Winners Chapel Tema branch, headed by Rev. David Ndubueze to celebrate the birth anniversary and over 30 years of ministerial calling of the founder, fondly called ‘Papa’ by congregants.

In a short recorded message from Bishop Oyedepo, he shared his heartfelt gratitude to God for the grace to serve mankind and to share the word of God to the entire world through a ministry that has brought liberation to millions of people through the preaching of the word of faith. He thanked all for their continuous prayers for him and the entire ministry.

With a praise and worship led by the ever-winning choir, the congregation showed their appreciation to God for a prophet like ‘Papa’. There were other ministrations from the choreography and drama unit delivering a sketch depicting the life journey and calling of Bishop Oyedepo.

Church members offered prayers and gifts to the founder. Celebrants, on the other hand, received a gift of a mantel (handkerchief) from the Bishop.

The event ended with a lot of cheers and merrymaking as a birthday cake was cut to crown the celebration after which the entire church was refreshed.
