Members of the Resurrection Power New Generation Church (RPNGC) have staged a protest over alleged embezzlement and misappropriation of funds belonging to the church by their leadership.

In viral videos sighted by GhanaWeb on social media, some members of the church are seen carrying placards with various inscriptions, including demands for accountability.

“No account, no offering. No account, no preaching. Resurrection, we are for peace, and it is for the sake of peace that we are here. You are seeing this group because of peace; we are seeking the progress of the church… God is preparing his righteous flock, and what we are saying is that no account, no preaching. No account, no offering. For the sake of posterity,” a voice speaking from a sound system mounted on a van at the church premises is heard saying amidst the protest.

According to reports, the protest is said to have been held during the church’s Sunday service on September 7, 2025.

The church has faced significant internal challenges since the death of Reverend Anthony Kwadwo Boakye, the founder of the Resurrection Power New Generation Church (RPNGC), in February 2023.

These include allegations of financial mismanagement and leadership disputes.
