Tesano Global Evangelical Church organises Carols Night

Accra, Dec. 24, GNA - The Reverend Felix Mensah Agbo, Head of the Tesano branch

of the Global Evangelical Church, has called on politicians to promote peace and unity as the

world prepared to celebrate the birth of Christ and enter the New Year. He said there was the need for political parties to rally behind the government to ensure

that the nation achieved "the better Ghana we are all yearning for". Rev. Agbo made the call when delivering his Christmas Message at a Festival of Nine

Lessons and Carols in Accra on Wednesday night. He urged Ghanaians to have compassion for the vulnerable in society and to help them to

become productive citizens to help in nation building. Rev. Agbo also asked Ghanaians to use the Yuletide to reflect on ways of solving

problems, which impeded national unity and development. He advised the media to be circumspect in their reportage to ensure national

transformation. The Nine Lessons were read from the books of Genesis, Isaiah, Matthew, Mark, Luke and

John.
