Let us join hands together to pray down Divine blessedness
of peace, mercy and goodness, progress, prosperity and glory for the land
so evil, tyranny and greed do not stampede and frustrate
the God-given peace, victory and hope we now enjoy.

No more revolutionary cries of blood, violence, fears and doom
of rights and liberties, the dignity of man and sacredness of life abused,
trampled down and treated with scum,
with noise, lies and flattery, fraud, cheating and robbery,
with hate, evil and violence, covetousness, greed and fraud,
hailed and trumpeted as virtues,
forced down the throats and minds of the young,
the uninformed and simple and paraded on streets,
airwaves and print to jar sensibilities
and the peaceful and pleasant atmosphere of the motherland.

O people of Ghana, let us rise up as one people with one destiny
to defend the heritage of peace, good neighbourliness and laughter,
trust, joy and hope in the Most High God.
Let no spirit nor power nor person rob us
of the blessed providence, joy and glory
of the God of the land, asaasewura, Creator of heaven and earth.

Let us be weary when the hungry, greedy, needy and ignorant
are armed with knives and sticks, guns, drugs and cell phones
to cow down dissent, legitimacy and decency,
extolling armed robbery in the politics, justice and good of the land
with a view to taking over the nation,
wealth and treasures of the land.
So people of Ghana love, pray and pursue
the peace and righteousness, progress, prosperity and
glory of the motherland.

Peace be within thy palaces;
Prosperity within thy gates;
O PEOPLE OF GHANA!!
