Rohi Christian Leadership Institute starts mobile training programmes

Accra, Nov.9, GNA - A New Christian Leadership Institute, Rohi, will from Saturday, November 12, start an informal Mobile Ministry School to provide training to churches, Christian leaders, lay preachers as well as pastors from all denominations.

The Mobile Ministry will be a training programme for learners who do not need to attend classes at a designated location.

Rev Chris Parsram, Founder of the Rohi Christian Leadership Institute who launched the Ministry announced that the maiden edition of the programme would include free tuition for a three-month certificate course in Christian leadership.

“We will teach life applicable lessons and biblical lessons that will transform lives,” he said.

Rev Parsram explained that the Institute is adopting the Mobile Ministry School approach because it is more effective, requires no permanent classrooms and would have an impact on a large number of people in a shorter period of time. Some of the programmes to be taught in the programme include, home cell management, children ministry management, Sunday school management, ushering, gate-keeping and church protocol, marriage management, ICT –based total church management and administration.

Rev Parsram said the school would offer certificate, diploma and advance diploma courses in various curriculum.

He expressed concern about the downward trend of Christian leadership in Ghana and said it is imperative that the future leaders from the church and the nation are trained with the kind of qualities that would make them disciplined and responsible to live spirit-filled lives.
